Q4 2020 Performance of Top iOS Business Apps in the UK

As the year 2020 came to a close, the performance of iOS Business Finance & Solutions apps in the UK demonstrated significant user activity and download trends. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these applications fared during the fourth quarter.

Starting with the Tide Business Banking App, we observed a decrease in downloads from 7 thousand in early October to 4 thousand by the end of December. Despite this, weekly active users remained robust, peaking at nearly 39 thousand in late December.

For Shopify - Your Ecommerce Store, downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 3 thousand in late October and a surge to 4 thousand in the final week of December. Weekly active users showed an upward trend from 33 thousand in early October to over 39 thousand by the year's end.

SumUp - Credit Card Reader experienced a drop in downloads from 3 thousand at the quarter's start to around 1 thousand towards the end. Active users also saw a decline, starting at over 50 thousand and reducing to approximately 44 thousand by the final week of December.

The PayPal Zettle: Point of Sale app showed a decrease in downloads from nearly 3 thousand to just over 1 thousand between the start and end of Q4. The weekly active users started at 18 thousand and decreased to 14 thousand during the same period.

Lastly, ADP Mobile Solutions downloads peaked at around 2 thousand in late October but fell to under 1 thousand by the end of December. The app's active users saw a slight decline from 17 thousand in September to 14 thousand at the close of the quarter.
